Craig Allen leads all key operational aspects of the Company, including Logistics, Phlebotomy, Customer Service, Operations Excellence, Facilities, Procurement, and Lab Network Operations. Craig tiene más de 25 años de experiencia en Operaciones y Excelencia de Procesos en las industrias de fabricación, distribución y atención médica. Antes de incorporarse a BioReference en 2018, Craig tuvo varios puestos de liderazgo en Quest Diagnostics y General Electric. Tiene una trayectoria ejemplar en la formación y el desarrollo de equipos de alto rendimiento que superan constantemente las metas comerciales y generan crecimiento rentable en los entornos de Operaciones, Cadena de Suministro, Fabricación y Ventas. Los equipos que forma Craig producen ahorros multimillonarios de productividad a través de la eliminación de residuos, el rediseño de procesos y la optimización del personal. Craig tiene una maestría en Administración de Empresas de SUNY-Albany y una licenciatura en Ingeniería en la Universidad Clemson.

El Dr. James Weisberger es patólogo anatómico y clínico certificado, y un líder reconocido en hematopatología. Supervisa todas las operaciones clave de laboratorio y sistemas de calidad, y mantiene a BioReference Laboratories como un laboratorio innovador y de calidad donde la atención al paciente y la seguridad del laboratorio son la prioridad. El Dr. Weisberger se esfuerza por posicionar a BioReference como líder en lograr resultados de laboratorio centrados en el paciente y basados en la precisión, y analítica de datos para la mejor práctica de la atención al paciente.

El Dr. Weisberger ha escrito más de 40 publicaciones como resúmenes o artículos revisados por pares, y es un educador activo en el New York Medical College, donde se desempeña como profesor adjunto clínico de Patología y Medicina. Es académico y miembro de Jersey House of Delegates para el College of American Pathology, y académico de la American Society of Clinical Pathology. Ellen Beausang leads the commercial and product franchise teams. She is responsible for driving growth for the organization through commercial sales teams as well as product marketing, training and driving overall strategy for the product franchises. As an industry veteran with over 25 years of experience, Ellen has held executive roles at leading pharmaceutical and diagnostic companies including Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, Thermo Fisher Diagnostics, and Quest Diagnostics. Ellen is passionate about building high-performing teams and best-in-class portfolios through a strong vision that always is customer-centric and focused. Antes de incorporarse a BioReference, Ellen fue directora ejecutiva de oncología en Quest Diagnostics, donde administró la estrategia de preferencia del mercado y desarrollo de productos.

Ellen holds a M.A. Degree from Seton Hall University and a dual B.S. in Sociology/Psychology.

Greg cuenta con más de 25 años de experiencia en funciones de liderazgo en Medioambiente, Salud y Seguridad y RR. HH. con alcance nacional e internacional, en diversas industrias desde productos de consumo hasta ciencias biológicas. Anteriormente, se desempeñó como Director de recursos humanos para el continente americano en Kedrion Biopharma y como Director global de recursos humanos en KEDPlasma; también ocupó cargos de liderazgo en RR. HH. en: Shionogi, PAR/Strativa, Verispan y Aventis.

Greg tiene una licenciatura en Comercialización de la Universidad St. Peters.

Vincent D’Orazio is responsible for leading key operations including Logistics, Phlebotomy, Customer Service, Operations Excellence, Facilities, Procurement, and Lab Network Operations at BioReference. Vincent has proven expertise and leadership in analytical and strategic planning skills to steer sizeable, multi-million dollar projects that improve outcomes and safety, reduce costs, and enhance end-to-end workflow performance.

A seasoned veteran with more than 25 years of experience, Vincent has supported Laboratory Operations in different capacities at Quest Diagnostics, NYC Health + Hospitals, and North Bronx Healthcare Network. In addition, Vincent also held Supervisor of Respiratory Care and Staff Respiratory Therapist roles at North Bronx Healthcare Network.

Vincent holds a M.P.H. and B.S. from Mercy College.

Merve Ozkus is responsible for the company’s IT and computer systems & end user compute. Merve provides leadership in technology operations and strategy while ensuring an innovative, robust, scalable, and secure technology ecosystem at BioReference. The primary responsibilities for her office include: IT Governance & Portfolio Management, Technology Infrastructure & Operations Services, Customer Connectivity and EMR Solutions, Product Management and Software Development, as well as Lab Information Systems management.  

Merve brings nearly 15 years of IT technology experience & progressive thought leadership to the organization. She is ITIL and Scrum certified and holds an M.B.A. from Montclair State University along with a bachelors in Biological Sciences and Geography from Rutgers University.

In 2023, Merve was named a Top 10 CIO in the Healthcare Sector by Healthcare Digital.

Dr. Tamara Paczos is a board certified anatomic and clinical pathologist, and is also certified in obstetrics and gynecology. As the Chief Laboratory Officer at BioReference, Dr. Paczos serves as the Laboratory Director of our facilities in Elmwood Park and Mineola, in which she is responsible for regulatory and medical affairs, as well as Quality Systems. She also serves as our Women’s Health Medical Officer.

Dr. Paczos practiced obstetrics and gynecology for several years before completing a second residency program in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. She joined BioReference with many years of laboratory director experience and laboratory management leadership at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Dr. Paczos currently serves as co-President of the American Pathology Foundation and co-President of the Laboratory Management University. She is also a member-at-large of the College of American Pathologists, the American Society of Clinical Pathology, and the International Society of Gynecologic Pathology, as well as a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American College of Pathology. She has authored multiple publications as abstracts or peer-reviewed journal articles. 

Dr. Paczos earned her B.A. and M.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She completed a residency program in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Rochester, earned an M.S. in Business Administration at the Simon Scholl of Business, and completed a second residency program in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at SUNY Buffalo.

Richard Schwabacher is Senior Vice President and Chief Business Officer responsible for company strategy, business development, M&A strategy, portfolio management, growth and innovation. He leads engagement with external stakeholders including oversight of marketing, communications, and government affairs. He spearheaded Scarlet Health^®, an innovative digital solution that reimagines the delivery of laboratory diagnostics.

Prior to BioReference, Richard served as the Vice President, Customer Experience & Engagement at Pfizer and at Quest Diagnostics as Executive Director, Consumer Technology, Digital Solutions and Head of Sports Diagnostics within Healthcare Technology and Analytics Solutions. He was a member of the Technical Expert Panel, Patient-Generated Health Data Project for the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology at the White House.

He is one of Modern Healthcare’s 2021 Top 25 Emerging Leaders and was a finalist for CIO of the Year, 2021 CIO ORBIE Awards.

Michael Schmid brings a unique mix of global and domestic finance leadership to BioReference, where he oversees all finance and has significant experience in diverse healthcare, pharmaceuticals, medical device and consulting companies.

Michael’s prior experience includes key finance leadership roles at international companies such as Demant North America, ratiopharm Canada, Convatec Germany, Azupharma and Merck KGaA.

Michael received his Certified Management Accountant designation in Canada and holds an M.B.A from the University of Mannheim.

Jane Pine Wood is a licensed and practicing attorney who oversees the BioReference Legal Department, with a focus on legal and regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and corporate ethics. Jane se incorporó a BioReference después de trabajar durante casi tres décadas en la práctica privada en McDonald Hopkins, LLC.
